Marvel Studios Unveils “The Fantastic Four” Cast and Reschedules Releases

Marvel Studios’The Fantastic Four” introduces Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Thing. Disney adjusts release dates, moving “The Fantastic Four” to July 25, 2025, and “Thunderbolts” to May 2, 2025. The 2025 Marvel lineup includes “Captain America: Brave New World” and “Blade“.

The origin story involves astronauts transformed by cosmic rays: Reed Richards gains elasticity, Sue Storm gains invisibility, Johnny Storm gains flames and flight, and Ben Grimm becomes a super-strong rock-like creature. Director Matt Shakman (“WandaVision“) helms, with a screenplay by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer.
